I am posting this review to document our experience and to inform other truckers and fleet owners. We were charged significantly inflated prices on parts, close to 50% above normal market pricing. the Hendrickson MAXX22T brake caliper and brake pad kit were billed far higher than widely available pricing from major distributors. We also paid a Saturday service call without any issue. However, the situation became extremely concerning when we were pressured to pay immediately via Zelle and were told that our truck would not be released unless payment was made. Because of the pressure and the manner in which this was handled, we had no choice but to contact law enforcement to the location. After police involvement, we were then offered a $300 discount on parts, and saying will give discount if u don't involved any one and don't anything on social media regarding us . with the condition that we not escalate the matter or report the incident, which raised serious red flags. And we attached all bills copy who they play with it and even provided a proof of part price . At this point, the matter has been documented, shared with our legal counsel, and is being reviewed for further civil action. We are also sharing our experience publicly so other drivers are aware of how breakdown situations are handled here. Emergency breakdowns put truckers in a vulnerable position. Transparency, fair pricing, and professional conduct are critical. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that. We strongly advise others to: • Get written estimates before work begins • Verify part pricing independently • Be cautious of payment method pressure • Document everything during emergency repairs This review is based on our direct experience and supporting invoices.

I can’t say enough good things about Overweg Repair. Today, even though the shop was closed, the owner went out of his way to open up and repair the AC on my truck a level of dedication that’s hard to find these days. This is my second time bringing a vehicle here, and both experiences have been consistently excellent. The service is professional, the work is high quality, and the pricing is fair and transparent. What really stands out is the honesty and care they put into their work. I left feeling confident that my truck was fixed properly and that I wasn’t overcharged. It’s rare to find a shop that combines skill, integrity, and customer service so well. I only wish I lived closer so I could make this my go-to place for all my vehicle repairs and maintenance. Highly recommended!

BEWARE – FRAUD ALERT Most of the 5-star reviews appear to be from family, friends, or possibly fake accounts. He may offer to work on his day off, but he does not disclose upfront that he will charge three times the normal labor rate. In addition, parts that cost around $500 in stores are charged at double the price. I understand a reasonable markup (10–20%), but doubling the cost is excessive. He refuses to clearly explain pricing beforehand. At the end, he may force you to either pay the inflated amount or leave your truck/car at his shop. He also insists on payment through Zelle only and does not accept credit cards, which is concerning. There is no clear notice about this policy in advance. Please be cautious before doing business here.
