Moab Mobile Mechanic -- Matt is the best! We took our 2018 Jeep JLU Rubicon to Moab for a once in a lifetime vacation and our oil cooler went out. Disappointing, but Matt took great care of us and we did get some trails in with our own Jeep after two days with a (great) rental. Matt met us on short notice and we stood by while he took the top end of our 3.6L Pentastar engine apart, made the repair, and put it all back together from memory, showing that he really knows Jeeps like the back of his hand. He replaced the plastic oil cooler with a metal replacement from Dorman, which should last us a very long time. Matt is personable, an expert in his field, and more than reasonably priced for a mobile mechanic. Not only can he repair your vehicle where it sits, but he can do that on the trail and at the worst of times. We very highly recommend Moab Mobile Mechanic for any repairs in and around Moab. I only wish he was closer to where I live! Thanks Matt!

The day before heading to Moab from Portland, I realized I was missing one of the sway bar links on my truck. I bought new parts before making the drive but didn't have a plan for installation once I arrived. I found Moab Mobile Mechanic via Google search and called Matt on a Sunday hoping for a Monday repair time, and it all worked out perfectly. We spoke once or twice on the phone on Monday, I planned a location to meet, and he showed up right on time, got to work and finished the job quickly. Matt's chill and professional, and definitely knows the Moab off-roading scene well. He's built some nice rigs over the years and can offer advice on trails if you're curious. I also recommended my friend to him for an issue with his Gladiator's drive shaft. Same thing: one day's notice, great interaction. I'll def share his info around to anyone I come across. He's legit & the real deal. 5 stars all day.

Matt from Moab Mobile Mechanic is a lifesaver! During a recent 4-day stay in Moab, after some adventurous rock hounding in the desert, we returned to town and noticed our Mazda CX9's steering was suddenly out of alignment. With a long drive home looming the next day, we took a chance and called Matt on a Thursday evening, hoping he could help us out on such short notice. Matt not only answered the call but showed up a little earlier than expected—always a pleasant surprise when you're worried about car trouble. He quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered the necessary part, and returned the next day to fix everything up, just in time for our journey home. Talk about efficient service! What really stood out to me was Matt’s friendly attitude and his ability to explain the issue in a way that made sense. I’m not the most car-savvy person, but he took the time to walk me through what went wrong and how he was going to fix it, which I really appreciated. Plus, his rates were very reasonable, especially for a mobile service. I was so impressed with his professionalism and helpfulness that I left his business card in our accommodation , hoping other Moab visitors will have his info on hand if they ever find themselves in a bind.
