Our van needed a lot of work, but Tane was still willing to work with us. He took care of the title, picking up the car, and payment in one afternoon. Address:1575 Beck St, Salt Lake City, UT (Zipcode: 84116)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedHad what could’ve been a sticky situation made so much easier and comfortable to navigate because of the awesome service and assistance provided by them. Especially by the online team. For starters, they had a part that wasn’t easy to locate without having to pay outrageous dealer markup prices and they processed and had the part to me out of state in Texas within a week. I could not have asked for faster service. They answered every time I called with questions before and after my purchase. Once the part arrived, there was an issue with mounting that they quickly helped me to resolve and overcome. The patience and attentiveness they paid to me and my struggle is second to none. My experience with them will forever be one of the best I’ve ever had as a customer and small business owner. Thank you Vriens Truck Parts!!

Address:6980 2100 S, Salt Lake City, UT (Zipcode: 84128)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedThe site is well laid out. My only complaint is one row of cars that had two cars I wanted to look at and were still listed as present when in fact they were already gone. Other than that, I like that you can see what's in the inventory before you go. Living three hours away makes that very important to me.

Address:1725 N Chicago St, Salt Lake City, UT (Zipcode: 84116)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedAwesome place, awesome crew. I've been doing business with these guys for years. If they don't have the part I need, they will find it and get it in for me. These guys go above and beyond to provide an amazing service every time.
Just had an awesome conversation with security here about the world we live in. Although they didn’t have the parts I needed I wish they did to be able to shoot the stuff while picking them up. All the best!

Address:652 S Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City, UT (Zipcode: 84104)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedJust when you think you will have to pay to get rid of your old car or just give it away for a tax deduction, along comes TearAPart to save the day. I got $280 for my old 2000 Mazda when another yard only offered $147. The thing I liked best? The communication and negotiation via email was completed within a day; they must really pump their people up with something strong to get them to respond almost instantaneously. I loved it! - Steve

Address:6235 Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City, UT (Zipcode: 84123)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedI came to Redwood Recycling as it was convenient to where I was in the valley…I should have drove the extra few miles to Wasatch Metals. Redwood has NO clear signs and employees just point to general areas for drop off. Their website says that “customers come first” which was not my experience. Lastly, Wasatch Metals pays more for scrap…almost double!

I might wait in line for a bit but that’s because they are giving EVERY customer great service. So I never mind the wait! Thank you for making all my transactions easy, fair and fast.
They gave me $275 for my 2000 plymouth neon. it wasn't even running any more and it had pretty bad body damage. they seemed to be honest and upfront about what they would pay and they didn't cheat me at all.

Address:585 W 3300 S, Salt Lake City, UT (Zipcode: 84115)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedBad time. I had my car at an auto shop. I scheduled to meet them there THREE TIMES. The first they said my title had too big of a signature and made me pay for a new one. THEN there was a time mess up and I drove for an hour for nothing. And then- after I clarified my address with them twice online, three times on the phone, and once in person (I WROTE IT DOWN) they mailed my check to the address of the auto shop. A place who doesn’t know me, and I am not affiliated with. I live an hour away. Thank heavens to the auto shop for catching it. I want to be nice but this was a two month long pain in the neck. 😞

Address:4255 S 300 W suit 7, Salt Lake City, UT (Zipcode: 84107)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedLiterally left for 30 minutes and my car was gone. Literally no signs except one in the dark by some trees covered in paint. Went to Harmon's to check something out. Not from around that area and they wanted me to come in the next day so it'd be "cheaper". Of course I said absolutely not and came immediately in. Paperwork said they towed my car within 10 minutes of me leaving it and charged for a whole day for holding my car in their lot. It costed $381 bucks because it was "after hours".

Address:555 Fulton St, Salt Lake City, UT (Zipcode: 84104)Phone:Open hours:Open 24 hoursStatus:OpenThis was the number on the sign of the parking lot that my mom's car disappeared from so I called to ask about my moms car being towed. The guy answered the phone "yeah." I asked him if he had the car and gave him the address it was towed from and a description of the car. I said I needed to know if it was stolen or towed so I can make a police report if it was stolen. He said something over me. I asked "sorry what?" because he spoke while I was talking and he repeated in an annoyed tone "call the cops". He said he wouldn't look for mom's car unless we call the police. I said "ok thanks" and I hung up. My husband has been towed before to a different company and they seemed to want us to pay them. This company, not so much. We called the cops and it was towed by a different company. Lol any guesses why the company changed so abruptly for that parking lot? Probably because of the rude way things are handled here. May we never meet again.
I have been going to sommers since I was a kid. Great parts, great deals, lots of history there.
