Doug's Auto Repair in Orem UT. is a family, father and son business. No big waiting room, just a simple bench in the office to wait. But waiting wasn't long. If your looking for honesty and fair pricing this is the place. I took my car to a local dealership. After a two hour wait I was informed my emissions didn't pass. They informed me they would need to do diagnostic testing. I scheduled for the diagnostic testing that would start at 150.00. I would have to drop off my car for a full day. Someone at Auto Zone in America Fork told me about Doug's Auto repair in Orem UT. I called and was told they did diagnostic testing for 90.00. I went over and showed them my failed emissions paper. He said before he did the test he would check something first. It turned out I just needed a 5.00 fuse, no diagnostic test needed. He did my emission for 40.00, and on line car registration. Two wounderful honest, kind men. I highly recommend Doug's Auto Shop in Orem.

Doug is super friendly. I felt like this is an honest place considering my brakes were bad but they didn’t make me replace the rotors or pressure me to do the back brakes. I did anyways since they would go bad soon enough. Nice family ran place.

This place is amazing! Our car stalled on the freeway nearby. We had heard this place was the place to go, and boy were they right! We called at noon on Friday, and were still wanting to drive down south for our reservations. I thought it would be hopeless, however he said bring it in and he can run diagnostics. We stalled probably 15-20 times trying to get it to him, so I thought this would take a while to fix. He got my car in AND fixed in 1.45 hours! I think he gave me a deal on the diagnostics because he did the fix also, or he just is really good and honest and didn't over charge us. It did not ruin the bank, and we were able to get back on the road for our trip. I am unbelievably appreciative of Doug and his shop, and would recommend anyone come here. I have never felt so heard from a mechanic before. Thank you again! You saved our trip!
