I had initially gone to a different mechanic in Ohio who I spent a decent sum of money to fix something with my alternator/electrical system. Unfortunately, two days later after a couple hundred miles into a road trip to SC, I lost my power steering twice. I got the car towed to Eddie's shop (ACT) over the weekend and I rented a car to complete my journey. I ended up leaving my car there for a week until I could come back that way. I called Eddie first thing Monday and he was able to accurately root cause the issue which was a loose power cable on the battery terminal -- something I think the first mechanic missed. He was incredibly friendly through the whole process, one of those kind people that feels like a friend I've known forever even though I'd only talked to him on the phone. He was very accommodating because I had to pick up the car over the weekend when the shop was closed and he even gave me his personal cell number to make sure that it went smooth! Eddie charged me a tenth (literally!) of what the first mechanic charged me because he was able to accurately root cause the issue and "didn't want to throw parts at it for no reason." He even test drove it everyday to be sure the problem was solved. Eddie was an angel to me and my family, and I'm so thankful the Lord sent us his way. I would give more stars if it was possible. Thank you Eddie for taking great care of me and my family!

ACT Auto Parts was highly recommended to me by a family member & I will highly recommend them to anyone!! I needed new rear brake pads & rotors and the price Eddie quoted me beat the dealership's price by MORE THAN ½ the cost!! ? And he provides a 1 year warranty! Mechanic Mike does excellent work!! I felt like I was treated like family from the start!! They are very professional, respectful, and honest people! Just recently, I felt like I was having an issue with my front brakes/rotors, which were installed by a DIFFERENT auto shop a year and ½ ago. When I went to the shop to explain what was going on, he scheduled me for 2 weeks later and said he'd "give me a call with an estimate for the job!!! I called Eddie at ACT while I was still in the other auto shop's parking lot and he told me to bring my car down right then and they'd take a look at it!! Eddie called me with a "so called estimate for the job," and said that they put on brand NEW front brake pads and rotors that the OTHER auto shop was responsible for...and he did NOT charge me for them!!!! The only thing I had to pay was a small labor charge!! I was so appreciative and thankful for what they did for me that I cried when I picked up my car. They truly believe in doing the right thing and helping others! This type of business practice is what leads to success!! THANK YOU AGAIN, EDDIE & MIKE!!!
