I found OG Automotive through a local GXOR group for my high-mileage GX470. The owner was quick to offer an estimate based on what I asked for, which beat the local mechanics by a significant amount. His and his team’s knowledge and professionalism were consistent throughout, and they even got a couple of minor things fixed at no cost. For those who were worried about the shop being out of the area like myself, it’s walking distance from the Shady Grove metro station. I highly recommend OG Automotive to anyone who’s looking for an honest and reliable mechanic shop.

So happy that this shop was recommended to me. I do most small work myself, and am skeptical of having someone else work on my vehicles. I was pleased to find that the technicians at OG Auto share a passion for vehicles like I do! You won’t find this at most shops nowadays. The staff heard me out and shared concern over all of the issues- and potential issues I was having. Right away I could tell they were very experienced in their work, and fair with their prices! As long as I live around the area, this will be my go to shop. 10/10 recommend!

I don’t leave many reviews, but I need to give credit where credit is due I called OG Automotive asking for a same-day state inspection, and despite them being busy, they were able to accommodate me for the following day for my state inspection. Upon arrival, I talked to the friendly receptionist and the inspection was done <1 hour. Unfortunately, it did not pass because of a wheel bearing issue, but I spoke with the owner and they were able to fix it (at a very reasonable rate for this area), and same-day right before my MVA titling appointment.
