This garage replaced an AC compressor and expansion valve 4 years ago. We were told the compressor has a lifetime warranty. We took it back to them because the issue from 4 years earlier came back. They said it was the expansion valve again, so we had them replace that. We picked up the car and nothing was changed- AC still didn’t work. We took the car to another local garage for a second opinion and they said the compressor isn’t working. We took the car back to Stony Point told them what the 2nd garage said. They said they didn’t believe it but they would check it out. They found that the compressor was bad and would not stand by their claim of a life time warranty on the compressor that they quoted 4 years ago. So not only would they not stand by their claim of a lifetime warranty on the part they installed, they replaced a part that didn’t need to be replaced and charged us $500 to do it. Please use caution if you are considering using this garage and if you do please do not take them on their word and get everything in writing.
