This was my first visit to West Virginia and an opportunity for me to unwind, relax and enjoy nature for the weekend. What a beautiful location, wonderfully quiet and well appointed! The hosts have thought of everything and they made my arrival and check-in a breeze. Hiking the trails and roads around the lake and in the hills ensured a quiet weekend. I’ll be back again to spend more time venturing further out to the National parks and to do more hiking in the local area. Thank you!

A sweet little private cabin for a weekend away. This is a perfect cabin in which to disconnect from busy city life. The simple clean lines of the modern interior allowed us to listen to records and just enjoy each other's company by the fire. During the day we drove to some nice hikes with serene views of the mountains. And, amenities like grocery stores and general stores are only a few miles away.

Alex and April’s cabin at Warden Lake was the wonderful, relaxing respite we needed after 2 stressful months of relocating from New York to Virginia, packing and unpacking our household and starting a new job. Well equipped kitchen, peaceful surroundings, excellent communication and attention to details are evident throughout the home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
