I write this review not as a customer that presented to the dealership to buy a car. I have no doubt that the salespeople are knowledgeable and fair. But I wanted to share a personal experience that reflects on the stellar character of the two gentleman that I encountered at the dealership. I was driving a borrowed EV ( electric vehicle) last week. In my ignorance and lack of foresight I realized that I did not have enough battery life to arrive at my destination. In the course of trying to find a charge, I wound up at the dealership with only a few miles of range and I was 20 miles from a charging station. The manager, whose name I don’t know and the salesman were both kind and helpful. They allowed me to plug in to a wall outlet, until I had enough charge to get to a charging station. They allowed me to wait in the clean and comfortable reception area, and allowed me to have some bottled water. It took a while , but I eventually left and made it. I offered to pay for my use of their power, but the manager just said. “I am just doing the right thing”. They sent me off with maps of the country roads. These are people that you can trust.

**Edited shortened version** I first viewed and test drove the truck on March 28, and returned on Saturday, March 29, to complete the deal. At that time, I asked sales about the motor issues and was told that they updated it and there was a fix. Based on this information, I agreed to the purchase and scheduled pick up the truck on Monday at 5 p.m. Shortly after purchase, on April 7, it was noticed that my inspection sticker was expired. I then contacted R.B. Fries and brought the truck in to be inspected. Yes, the inspection was then addressed but cost me time and money to return to the dealer. On May 11, I drove to the dealership and left the truck with a note for the service department to call me. On Monday, May 12, I was contacted and informed that the motor was bad and a replacement had been ordered. I also reserved rental loaner. I was told the motor would take about a week to arrive and three days to install. I asked to be kept updated. I picked up the loaner and talked to sales to express my dissatisfaction and requested to swap the truck for a new one, stating I was even willing to pay a difference. He apologized and said he believed the truck had the updated motor and also that he doesn’t blame me for not wanting this truck. He mentioned he would speak with the sales manager, who was out until Wednesday, and the owner, who was out that week. I followed up on Thursday, May 15, and spoke directly with the sales manager. He informed me the trade-in value on my truck was significantly less than what I had paid as he was seeing around 59k at the auction, even though I had purchased it only five weeks earlier for nearly $70,000. I expressed my frustration. He later called to say the motor was in route, but they were waiting on a status update regarding the radiator. He also mentioned he would see if GM could assist in a potential trade. He stated he would get back to me. However, as of today, I have not heard anything from himI sent the owner a letter by email in which he never responded, but on the same day that I sent the letter, I received a call from the service manager telling me that the radiator got there today and they were going to get started on the truck. Amazing that it just showed up the same day I sent the letter. I asked when the motor got there and was told the other day. He told me it would be done by Friday, probably Thursday, but Friday to finish. No one ever called me as I asked to keep me updated on the motor and radiator. I called on Friday and talked with the service manager and he told me it was not ready. I asked him when it was going to be ready. He told me he doesn't know when it's going to be ready. I called the owner, and he told me he was going to handle it personally. I asked again for a price on a trade in to try and just put this behind us. He called me on Saturday and the truck he found didn’t have all the options that I had or wanted. I was open to change from white to also grey or blue to try and settle this. Service called me on Tuesday May 28 telling me that the truck should be done today. I also spoke to the owner on Tuesday May 28, and he told me he will talk to me about the truck when I came to pick it up on Wednesday May 29. When I arrived, he was not there, and sales told me that he went out of town but was working on the grey truck for me and would get back to me in a day or so. As of today, the owner or anyone else has not been in contact with me about this or a price on a trade. Instead of making excuses he should have addressed my concerns. If he couldn’t make a deal to get that truck, he could have called me to tell me. I have heard nothing. I have witnesses for both the face to face and call with the service manager which again was told it was a misunderstanding. I tried and gave this dealership and owner several chances to work this out but yet it’s been nothing but denying everything and no response. The owner himself should have handled this situation before it escalated to this point. Customer satisfaction is not their strong point when there are issues.
