I totaled my car on an icy day , ( even safety features can't beat mother nature) the person that I hit wanted me to follow them to this garage, at first I said no, but he insisted for safety reasons . These guys were the best - I wish my car wasn't totaled , just so they could fix it - in the future, I will definitely use this garage , and I will definitely suggest this place to others.

I took my 1995 Mustang to Scott for some pretty major paint repair. He did a FANTASTIC job! He even corrected a few spots that he didn't charge me for. The paint looks great, probably better than when it was new. I highly recommend this shop for paint. For the price, he came in exactly as quoted.

I'm writing this more in response to a bad review I read than for my own experiences. It isn't that I don't think Wildwood is worthy of a good review, but I hadn't thought of doing one before I saw the bad review. First point: I've bought several cars over the years from Wildwood. The first car lasted quite a while before I began having troubles with it. (Those problems developed after many thousands of miles, and were not the fault of the seller.) And my latest vehicle is still running well. Some time after I bought this latest one, I returned to Wildwood for some minor issues, cars being what they are (that is, never 'endlessly perfect'). They diagnosed the problem and made the repairs. (Note that these were not issues that existed prior to buying the vehicle.) They have always been professional in their work, and in how they interact with customers. Further, having had work done there as well as at a GM dealership with other cars, I can tell you the labor costs at Wildwood are more than reasonable, being up to 35-40% less than the dealership costs. While I have never had any of my vehicles painted there, I have been there to see the results of their craftsmanship. Awesome, to say the least. I asked about painting costs, for a friend, and was told a figure that seemed a bit high. But, after doing some research, and after speaking with the owner at Wildwood, I found out that costs are in fact lower at other places, especially at major nationally advertised brands, but that attention to details, and supplies used are inferior to Wildwood. I know of far too many people who have gone to those nationally advertised businesses (I won't name them because this isn't about them) who have complained a year or two, or sometimes even months later about the paint job because the paint was flaking and peeling off. (What is the value of saving a few bucks only to have your car look like it has a 'skin condition'?) Point two: I've seen bad reviews on car dealers, restaurants, hotels & more. But I always do more digging. I want to know if the reviews are typical, or if it's just one person with a bad attitude. I know personally of people who have dealt with Wildwood, and I've bought more than one car from them. The bad review I mentioned is an anomaly, and not indicative of the true value of the company. Now, Point Three: After years of working in the service industry, in particular in restaurants, I've had countless run-ins with people who are commonly referred to as ENTITLED. You know the ones. They go in to a restaurant, order the most expensive cut of steak with all the trimmings and secondary dishes, eat most of it, then demand to see the manager to complain about the quality of food they received. Then, they proceed to raise holy h*** and demand that the meal be taken off their check. These 'squeaky wheels' often write horrible reviews of the places they patronize because a) they are the 'Entitled', and b) they feel powerful in destroying any company that doesn't give them everything they want, or does so too slowly for the customer's desires. The same things happen in the used car industry. The cars are USED!!! You will NOT get a brand new, $40,000 car for the $4,000 price tag of a used car. So, I am hereby requesting anyone who has something good and positive to say about this company to please speak up. Don't let one Entitled person ruin a great company. In fact, perhaps the satisfied customers need to speak more often to offset the rare 'Entitled' squeaky wheel looking to get a steal even if it means ruining a good company and devastating the employees and their families in the process. Yes, squeaky wheels should be greased. Next time you see, or hear one, grab a big can of grease and tell 'it' to turn around and bend over. (If you want a brand new car, don't go to a used car dealer and then complain because they don't have new cars, at used car prices, for you to buy.) The backbone of America is the small business. The bane of small business is the ENTITLED A**HOLE. Have a nice day! ...and carry a big can of grease!
