I was quoted $1,500 for labor over the phone, to replace the transmission in my 2020 Chevy Traverse. I had purchased a transmission myself and had it shipped to CMR. They installed it, and I got the bill it was $3,445. I am absolutely outraged, at no point in time did they call to tell me they were having issues, that it was more time consuming than normal, I heard absolutely nothing from them until it was finished. I will never have work done there again, and I would never recommend them to anyone. I have done lots of research; labor on a transmission installation should range from $700-$1800, in no way shape or form is $3,445 warranted without a phone call saying “we’re having this issue or that issue, do you want us to proceed?” Tread very carefully with this business, or avoid them at all cost.

I have a unique rear end in my Dakota that I couldn't find parts to replace myself. And while other shops in Clarksburg gave me outrageous estimate to rebuild this 20 year old differential, CMR not only put top of the line Yukon parts with an amazing warranty but beat the other shops by $1,100! I followed the 500 mile break-in procedure they laid out for me and the truck runs awesome. I won't stress over where to take my vehicles anymore and recommend others do the same.

I would give them a 10 if I could ..I took my 2000 excursion to them because Josh Price’s Garage really screwed up putting a new jasper engine in it. Thank goodness for CMR -Mike, Charlie, Jeff, and all they’re other staff!!! It’s really hard to do over peoples bad work so I really have to give it to them. They were very professional from the start. They had my vehicle ready when they told me it would be (unlike Josh Price’s garage who had the vehicle for over a year which screwed Mr out of my warranty!!! I’m not lying!) They told me everything they were doing and approx. cost. I would definitely recommend going to them because I know what they’re doing mechanically and that’s hard to find for sure! They’re down to earth, they talk to you like you’re part of a family. They have also done other work for me, that I needed done right away, and they squeezed me. They were always on time (sometimes same day) very professional, a good group working there!! Now we’re finally able to drive the vehicle after they Josh’s his mistakes..
