While returning from camp a few years ago my truck broke down in driftwood on the 4th of July. Contacted AAA and they sent groundhog towing to save us. They towed my truck to Blairsville Chevrolet while my son came to Driftwood to take us home. The gentleman was very kind and considerate and very business like. I would use this service again if needed.

Let me share my unpleasant experience with this company. On vacation with my family in Punxsutawney for the Groundhog's Day experience. As we are packing up to leave, I realized I've locked my keys in the car. Stressed out & unsure what to do, I called the non-emergency phone number for the local police station, who referred me to Groundhog Towing. Following is my experience when I called: Man answers with a rude, demanding, almost yelling: "Who's this?!"' Me: <explains the situation> Man, in highly irritated voice: "Where you at?" Me: <gives location of hotel> Man: "I've been here 12 years and never heard of it." I was utterly shocked, and ended the call at this point before contacting another towing company. Wasn't willing to do business with someone who so clearly didn't want my money. No, "This is Groundhog Towing, how may I help you?" upon answering. No, "I'm not sure where that is, can you give me directions," when answering his inquiry as to my location. Rude, irritable, completely unprofessional behavior. I was clearly speaking with a grown man, but it felt more like speaking to an uncouth teenager. It was the morning after Groundhog's Day, so who knows, maybe I'd caught him with a post-celebration hangover. WORST customer service I've ever experienced -- never had such unprofessional dialogue from a supposed place of business. Absolutely shocked.

You have absolutely no right, whatsoever, to put the community at risk with your reckless driving. There is NOTHING that important that YOU need to be in a hurry to get to that makes risking killing another person in a head-on collision even remotely okay. I hope you’re ashamed. At the very least, I hope you’re embarrassed enough to not drive like such a maniac in anymore. Moron.
