One of my favorite places..Hyner view offers panoramic views of rolling hills and forests, the small town, river and the bridge far below... A perfect place for picnic. It is also a beautiful drive that takes you through some of the best state parks and scenic areas and quaint little villages ..wildlife, winding roads and streams of PA wilds. There are many historical points of interest as well that makes you pause and think of the people and the times gone by and their legacies. Lots and lots of hiking trails, wildlife watching and recreation. The state parks and authorities and local people have done commendable job in preserving these beautiful invaluable treasures of this great country. Thank you all.

Amazing view! Can drive right up to the overlook. Loved the views from sr120 heading into the park as well!

Amazing view. Come during sunset and you won’t be disappointed. Not crowded and the grounds are well kept. I didn’t see any litter and the bathrooms are well maintained. Park ranger hovering around at dusk for safety reasons but he didn’t disturb us. It’s a bit of a drive to the view but well worth it.
