I came into Kost Tire and Muffler for a simple tire repair and left completely impressed. Red provided outstanding service from start to finish. Even though the shop was extremely busy, he took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and treat me with real respect. Because of how well I was treated, I decided to do an oil change and purchase four new tires on the spot. Red is professional, smart, and truly ambitious when it comes to mechanic work and customer service. When another customer canceled their oil change appointment, he immediately accommodated me and made sure I was taken care of. That level of effort and attention is rare. I called and spoke with Rick about getting some tires installed. I bought the tires from Tire Rack and just needed installation, which I've had done at this Kost in the past. I was asked a few questions about the car and if it had after market rims, which it does but just a standard after market 18" rim similar to what they sell in the shop. I was told that since I didn't buy the tires from them and since I had after market (not OEM) rims they wouldn't do the install. Only if i bought the tires from Kost would they do the install. It's a new policy. So, I called Stroudsburg Kost and spoke with Tiffany because I thought that sounded strange and they had no idea what i was talking about when i asked about their policy and scheduled the install for me at their shop. I don't know if they're franchises or not but it was weird they're refusing to do work they've done in the past for me when other Kosts will. Anyway, won't be back since it seemed like I was turned away for no reason except some excuse about liability which doesn't exist anymore if i buy their tires. I've been bringing mine and my wife's car here for three years. Generally been good service UPDATE: Spoke with Joe the district manager at the Strousdburg store. He really made it right, addressed it with me, and took care of me at the Stroudsburg Kost.

George was the best and very helpful with no pressure so I bought the warranty and still best price than local competitors. Gave me great info and will do work on my car if I bring my own oem parts I was told. Volvo. And my own oil. Rare service these days .. excellent service. My new goto garage. Thanks. 2013 Volvo s60.
