I recently purchased a 79 Corvette and wanted to do a few upgrades. I figured I’d stop at VTA and check out the shop. I found Tom and John to be very knowledgeable about Corvettes and the direction I wanted to go. They took the time to answer all my questions and discuss options explaining in detail what work would be done. They were prompt in scheduling and getting my car in to completing the work. They also seemed to take good care of it while it was there. This is a small shop much different than the usual service stations. I highly recommend VTA, stop by and talk to them and you’ll see why.

These Guys are really good! I've been going to VTA since a month after they opened. I have several cars and have been able to get all my work done without any trouble at all. I have been to 4 different mechanics in the Barnegat area before VTA. I tried the local tire shops and two other mechanics with only 1 out of the 4 being decent. VTA is by far my best all around experience in the last 5 mechanics in 5 years. I have a car with over 12k in performance work before going to VTA- its a 4cyl turbo with awd that they have been working on at the present time, not to mention my spare car with tons of miles and my wife"s car. I have spent time talking to them about all of my cars and they have all taken the time to listen and make reasonable suggestions to help me achieve what I'm trying to accomplish with any one of my cars, (they really do listen and take the time) unlike some of the other places I've been to. I am also no dummy when it comes to rebuilding a car or working on my own cars, that being said, I'm far to busy these days to do my own work on my cars or enjoy it and that is why I continue to find the best mechanic/s around. I feel they treat my stuff as their own and that makes a wold of difference when spending money on a service. I think their prices are fair and I feel more than confident in their ability to cover all types of work. The guys at VTA did my Rear Differential mounts, check out how clean it became after they dropped the rear and cleaned it up! Keep in mind I only needed the mounts changed. I will continue to use them for any work needed and recommend them too! Great work, Great customer experience and fair prices for what you get, AAA+ in my opinion.

CHECK PARTS PRICING!!!! THEY WILL CHARGE ALMOST DOUBLE OVER LISTED PRICES!!!! Beware I have gone to this shop for many years and decided to check some parts prices on a repair estimate I received. THIS PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF. I can go to Napa and buy the parts needed for a total of $892.96, the price for the exact same parts from Napa from VTA performance will cost $1,531 plus labor, when asked about the pricing I was laughed at by Tom one of the owners and said no one ever asks. The response was we are a Napa auto care center and you get a 2 year 24 month warranty, so you have to pay almost double the cost of the part to get the warranty???? Pricing from VTA in pictures as well as Listed prices from Napa website, and Napa is already the most expensive. I have our call recorded as well.
