Today is April 21st, garbage collection day. Yet there’s garbage still in the can. I checked the schedule to see if I made a mistake but nope, I didn’t. I didn’t see the garbage cans from the other houses, only bottle recycling for tomorrow. So I have to ask: did everyone else's garbage get collected and mine was ignored? If so, why? Or did everyone put their cans back when they realized the garbage truck wasn’t coming? If so, again, why? Why didn’t they show up? This has happened before on days that weren’t holidays. I don’t know why this happened but it goes to show there's a major issue in Paterson employees doing their job and not being held accountable by their “superiors” when they don’t. But it’s Paterson, I shouldn’t be surprised.
