I just had the craziest experience at this salvage yard. I called beforehand 2 days ago to make sure they had my type of vehicle. I spoke to the owner and he said “Yes, I have several E150’s” go ahead and come out here and look for your part or tell me what you need and I can pull it and call you when I have it but it could be a while because there were lots of people in front of me. I told him I would just come and do it myself and he said ok. I show up today and I let the lady know that I called and where can I find the E150’s and she asks me what part I need and I tell her. I need some little actuator pins but they want me to buy the whole part and I agree. She said I would have to wait until the owner came with me. Then she changes her mind and said to go over there and look and see if they have the part and then come back and let her know. So I found the exact part that I need and I came back and she said well the owner has to go over there and look because he’s not sure if he’s willing to sell it to you. So now I’m confused because why wouldn’t they wanna sell me the part they already told me to come over here and find the part. I just drove 25 miles. We then meet the owner over at the vehicle and he tells me that this is the only E150 that he has on the lot and that it has a perfectly good engine and that he doesn’t want to sell that part because he can sell the whole engine. So then I asked him why did he tell me he had several E150s and to come and he said I got rid of all my E150s yesterday except for this one. He then says I will sell you the part but I’m gonna jack up the price and you’re not gonna like it! Then he quotes me $75 and I tell, sure yeah I’ll buy it even though it’s ridiculous. Then I walk back to the front counter. The lady tells me that I need to hurry up because they’re about to close and then I need to pay first and then I can go get the part. I hand her the money and proceed to tell her that I wouldn’t have come out here if I knew all of this and that he told me he had several vehicles and that now he’s telling me he just magically got rid of all of them yesterday. So then she tells me well I’m gonna make you more mad. I’m not gonna sell you the part! I was never at any point disrespectful. I was very calm when I told her that I didn’t appreciate the treatment. The problem is the owner is a liar and probably tells everyone the same story so he can overcharge. I can buy the part brand new online for $50 but I just didn’t want to wait. What terrible customer service.

Owner told me they had several of the cars I was needing a simple interior part from & that he'd get back to me. He never did so I called again during work hours no answer so I text & no reply. Guess they don't want my business.
