Legacy Towing is terrible! Their tow truck drivers are poorly trained and don't pay attention to details. They have towed my vehicle twice now completely illegally! In our community there are at least 6 parking spots that are free parking and no permit is required. Twice we have been towed from a free spot. The first time was on Easter weekend. We told them that spot did not require a permit and they said there was nothing that could be done and we had to contact the HOA. They were very nonchalant about it. It happened again last night. This time I was told I can dispute/appeal it which I'm doing currently. It would be one thing if I was parked illegally then actions have consequences. However, being careful to follow the rules and still getting towed, resulting in large fines, emotional distress is unacceptable!!

It all began on a tuesday. It was a beautiful day, I thought nothing could possibly ruin it. How naive of me. We had GREAT plans for the night. I even put on eyeliner. We parked for less than ONE HOUR and by the time we were back the car was GONE. No warning, nothing. Then we called the given phone number over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Finally we just drove to the towing company and were immediately taken into a holding cell. They stripped us of all humanity. We had to take off all of our clothes to even be helped. No food, no water, for 6.5 hours. The cell was also 42 degrees. The service was abhorrent. It’s like thy didn’t even care that we had plans to eat tapas tonight. 2/10 do not recommend.

This company glued a sign to my passenger window, which blocked my view and created a significant safety hazard while I was trying to change lanes. I had explicit authorization from the renter to park in the handicap stall, making this action both unnecessary and obstructive. Using permanent adhesive on a vehicle window is unacceptable. I expect this to be addressed immediately.
