I've been going to Waamo for three years, ever since I moved to the neighborhood, and they've been nothing but fantastic. They're reliable, communicative, and while it's clear to anyone who's met me I know next to nothing about cars, they've never treated me as naive or taken advantage of my ignorance. They do same-day service for extremely reasonable prices and are open on Saturdays which is huge for me. These guys go above and beyond - when I misplaced a keychain the first or second time I went to them, they turned their office upside down looking for it (it turned out to be in my mom's purse). Most recently they replaced my brakes and installed snow tires, both for lower rates than estimated elsewhere. I highly recommend them if you're in the area.

Always ask for a estimate before the job or they will hold on to your keys until you pay the jacked up price of service. Also, many of their reviews here are of their employees posting with 5 star and the owner appreciating the review. Beware!

My experience with Waamo was awful. I took my car in for transmission work and spark plugs, and in my personal opinion, they completely failed to fix the real problem. After spending a lot of money, my car ran exactly the same, maybe even worse, and it felt like they didn’t bother to check anything properly. To me, the service was sloppy and unprofessional. They showed zero care. The staff didn’t feel friendly or honest, and I left with the strong impression that they were more interested in getting paid than actually helping me. I walked out feeling frustrated, disappointed, and totally let down. They held my car for 2 weeks and I got nothing from it. Based on my experience, I would never go back to Waamo.
