We used to go to Jim Hawk and always be satisfied with everything, labor and price, but yesterday (1/9/2026) we came for a brake chamber leak and it was replaced for an unfair price. At 2 pm CT my driver texted me that he check in and is waiting for the shop to come and start working on the trailer. At 3:17 pm CT he texted me that its all done and ready. The shop charged us 2,5h of labor for this! It was barely 1h, because they did not start working right away when my driver checked in at 2pm. I understand charging 1h or maybe 1,5h, but not 2,5 for a job that took you 3x less time to be finished. We are very disappointed about that! You can encrease a bit the hourly rate but charge fairly, and not to inflate the amount of hours to charge more than you worked on it. If you continue this way you will get more negative reviews and will lose most of your customers.

Service is great. We get alot of our truck and trailer part from them. They are affordable and accommodating. If you need parts with great service I would recommend trying them first

i called beforehand, they knew exactly what I needed and had it in stock. when I arrived the gentleman knew exactly who i was and seemed like we knew each other for years. excellent customer service.
