Today I came to pick up my vehicle, and I have a serious concern about the charges. On Saturday, my tire blew out after the car hit a pothole. Your company towed my car the same day — we contacted you within about 30 minutes. At that time, your representative told me very clearly that if I came on Saturday to pick up the car, I would have to pay an additional $80, because you do not operate on Saturdays. However, I was also told that if I came Monday morning, I would only need to pay the towing fee, with no extra storage charges. Based on that information, I did not come on Saturday. I relied on what your company told me. This morning, when I arrived, I was charged $362, (4 milles) including storage fees for the weekend. That directly contradicts what I was told. I have a question: if your company does not operate on Saturdays, why do you tow vehicles on Saturdays, knowing that the owner cannot retrieve the car the same day? I was given misleading information, and because of that, I made my decision. I also missed work today and lost income in order to come here, believing I would only pay the towing fee — and yet I was still charged for the weekend. This situation is unfair, and I am asking for the weekend storage fees to be removed, because I relied on the information provided by your company. Plus, be prepared to bring cash, as they don't accept card payments.
