I took my car for an estimate after an accident. I told them that the other driver was at fault and wanted to pay out of pocket. They looked at my car and emailed an estimate. The other driver thought it was “price-gouging” and asked me to get another estimate. The second estimate was 40% lower. The other driver then decided it needed to go through insurance after all. I made a reservation at Atwood’s because they are closer to my home. I called a couple days before I was to drop off the car. I called about something else and happened to convey that the insurance company would be paying now. I confirmed that they would accept the insurance company’s payment as payment in full. They told me that I would have to pay the difference!! There was nothing said about this. They did not review the estimate with me, they just emailed. I have reviewed the estimate and it does not address this topic at all. When were they going to tell me this? Were they going to hold my car hostage? I cancelled. Clearly, I dodged a bullet!

Just picked up my '24 Bronco from the their shop, and I'm so extremely pleased with the body work and paint match. And, I received my car back certainly much cleaner then what I gave them, felt like I was driving it off the showroom floor. Highly Recommend!
