I am very disappointed with the service at Harbor Freight, 2100 88th St, North Bergen, NJ 07047. The supervisor named Eddy is extremely unprofessional and incompetent. He was unable to locate basic tools in the store and clearly does not know the inventory. When I called the store, he also could not even tell me whether carburetor cleaning tools were available or not. A simple question, but no clear answer and no effort to help. This level of service is unacceptable for a tool store. Customers expect knowledgeable staff, not wasted time and frustration.

I appreciate the brand and because of my ability to travel during work hours, I can shop at many different HarborFreight locations, but I consistently keep coming back to the North Bergen one. What keeps me coming back, are the friendly faces and the above and beyond customer service. One of my favorite things about my visits here is that there’s really no distinction between the management and the associates when it comes to level of effort, care, and assistance. It’s like the title doesn’t even matter and folks are just willing to help you out, no matter who you are. I found this consistently across the board and I would love to call out everybody by name (I will update this as I learn more folks names). However, the two individuals that I have most interacted with during my visits are Jorge and Alexa. Talk about talk about going above and beyond for your customers, Alexa always greets me with excitement and a smile. Jorge is consistently sharing his knowledge not only for my product needs, but his curiosity as to what I’m working on or what problem I’m trying to solve. I’ve converted friends, neighbors, and family to the HF brand and not one of them has been disappointed. Keep crushing it guys!

I came in to this location not know much about the brand. I was lucky to be helped by who seemed to be the manager (I’m not 100% sure). He’s name was Ramon. He walked me through all my questions. Helped me find what I was looking for told me about other items I might be interested in. I definitely was without knowing it and told me what was on sale I ended up purchasing all I needed, and left extremely satisfied with my purchase. Easy to say I’ll definitely be returning to this company and location. Definitely recommend this place. If you happen to come to this location ask for Ramon he will definitely take care of you
