If you own a Sprinter, DO NOT take it here. They misdiagnosed a driveshaft vibration and walked me into buying a new one. Mine was only three years old as I had it replaced before at a different shop. I never got a great explanation for why it needed replacing, just "this is a common issue" and "driveshafts is what we do" - basically, "trust us." That was an expensive mistake. The cost to remedy the actual vibration issue will likely be much more now since they didn't fix anything and the problem has progressed. They also misaligned the downpipe leading from the turbo resonator causing a boost leak less than 1000 miles after they "resealed the turbo-boost system." Everything was tight, just not seated correctly. What a joke. They had my van in the shop for over a month. I had to call them to get updated. Very impersonal service and cold interactions with staff with poor communication skills and explanations. Rempke's Garage will never get my business again.

They tried balancing my driveshaft several times, but the vibration never went away. I replaced the driveshaft with a new one myself and the issue was completely resolved. 11/4/25 Edit Review: Yes, I had different issues. They also misdiagnosed a compression problem — another shop fixed it by cleaning carbon buildup, saving me thousands. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return or recommend this shop.

Best shop I’ve ever used for my sprinter van. I was towed in after failed repair attempts elsewhere by well meaning techs. The sprinter is a complex, unique sort of vehicle in the automotive/truck area, too big for automotive shops, too small for diesel truck repair establishments that exist for semi’s. The vehicle requires special skills, software, and equipment . I live over a couple of hundred miles from them, and plan to return for all my maintenance and repairs. The techs here have more Sprinter experience and knowledge than anywhere I’ve been in the 9 years I’ve owned my campervan. Highly Recommended
