Keep in mind while reading this post, I graduated in 2004 from Universal Technical Institute on the Director's List for by academic achievements, completed their Ford Accelerated Credential Training program, have been a Ford certified mechanic, worked directly for a dealership and racked up my fair share of experience in auto repair. I'm also an Army Infantry combat Veteran, who knew how to properly diagnose and repair Armored vehicles( when it was asked of me) while on that deployment. My point is, I have enough training, knowledge and experience to know when to swallow my pride for my own mistakes and when to recognize poor workmanship and negligence by another party. Stamper's Automotive. Called these guys to help my folks when they were in a bind because their truck needed some work. Truck goes in for a rear main seal and a u-joint on my instruction. Upon their recommendation valve cover gaskets and drive shaft get replaced. Less than 24 hours after leaving the shop, it has shifting problems at low ram's and a vibration at higher speeds. They contact Stamper's and get told, "They aren't transmission specialists." They offer no help whatsoever. Today a part of the timing chain kit blows out a corner of the driver's side valve cover. It's left sitting at the parking lot of the place they went to get lunch. With funds tight, appointments and no other vehicle there isn't much choice for what they can drive. There's oil in puddles on the opposite side of the engine. Oil lower on the opposite side. In the pictures I'll post you can see where the valve cover looks like it was installed incorrectly with no regard to the bolt sequence or torque specs. I see this because there's a gap where fresh metal can be seen only in a section parallel to the valve cover. I asked them to show me the procedures they followed for the repairs they did and they refused. I asked if they checked what was causing the valve covers to leak and they said no. The fact that they say they test drove the vehicle at the 55mph they claimed with no vibration, the day after it has all these problems is a pretty big coincidence. I ask who they're licensed and accredited through, I'm told they don't need to be licensed. I ask again and the guy I'm speaking to says he's ASE certified (who I'm contacting to file complaints with) and have their business license through the Roxana City Hall (who I'm contacting along with the mayor's office in Roxana). I hope the authorities in charge of making sure those who do business in Roxana are following practices that are fair and ethical take notice of this and suspend Stamper's Automotive business license. Until a resolution is complete with my parents having a reliable, safe vehicle to drive and that there are fines issued for their unethical and unsafe business practices. While I don't have it uploaded, I recorded the argument with Stamper's Automotive. What I've said can be backed up by that recording and the messages exchanged between us on FB Messenger. They took around $1500 from my folks to fix their vehicle and gave it back with more problems than it went on with. Now with cash being tight and Stamper's being uncooperative, their tuck is sitting in a nearby town restaurant parking lot with no way to get it home or to another shop. Stamper's, they laughed. My hope is that nobody else makes the mistake of doing business with Stamper's Automotive. I hope this review will shine the kind of light on them that shows their true colors. To the Roxana Mayor's Office and City Hall, please take notice of this post and show that strong arm business tactics won't be tolerated by your office.

This is the worst place you can ever take your car to get any type of work done to it! They are very unprofessional and not good on time at all! They told me they would motor and transmission swap my car. They said it would take a week but it turned into 3 months. And after it was all said and done when they said my car was ready they let me leave their lot with only one lug nut on my tire on my front wheel. They refused to fix it and ignored all my phone calls after telling them what happened. After having my car for a week now my key won't come out my ignition! THIS IS THE WORST MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AUTO REAPIR YOU COULD EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TOO!!!
