Took my grandmothers car to him. I thought he was a reputable mechanic by the reviews. Boy was I wrong. He was only supposed to diagnose the problem and then let me know what the issue was so I could decide whether to move forward or not. I dropped it off on a Tuesday . I called Wednesday before closing to see if he had a chance to look at it and he told me no he was busy all day and hadn’t had a chance to look at it. By early Thursday morning he said it was all done and it was ready to be picked up! I was shocked that he finished it within a morning. My grandmothers car was having electrical issues. I was expecting a phone call for the diagnosis but never received one and was told he “fixed” the problem and it would be $400!!!!! I never even found out what he did but came to the conclusion he just cleared some codes. $400 to clear some codes with a scanner!! He said he spoke to the company he sources through to see if that’s what he should do, which is just your local NAPA AUTO STORE, and he charged my 86 year old grandmother $400 for that crap!! Needless to say after driving it an hour ALL THE CODES POPPED BACK UP!! I called the ford dealer and they said it’s definitely a wiring issue and that clearing the codes is just putting a bandaid on the problem. I called Roger and he got mad and told me to bring it back and he’ll try to see what the issue is!! I thought after $400 YOU FOUND WHAT THE ISSUE IS!!! I’m not taking it back to him for him to charge my grandmother maybe another $400 for nothing. I’m taking it to the ford dealer that’s only charging me $300 to find the wire that’s causing the issue. This mechanic is a crook and is not competent to do electrical/module issues. Maybe he’s good at brakes, tire rods, and the sort but he’s a scam for anything else! Plus he just does the work with no phone call for the go ahead and fix it permission! He was a ONE AND DONE for me, unfortunately!
