I am highly upset. But a very transparent person. I handed $8000 dollars to Eagle Auto yesterday. Drove off not even 20 mins later the engine light came on. I told them they told me it was an oil pressure sensor. After returning back there to have them take a look at it. I left yesterday not even an hour later the engine light comes back on!!! I was told to drive my vehicle with a fairly low mileage used engine install 10 hours with the engine light on it and not to worry about it. But then told as of it was already anticipated that the engine light would come on. This is frustrating. Eagle Auto had my car for a entire year. They knew I had to travel to come pick it up. With an $8000 bill given my complete last after teaching a settlement. I woke up this morning took it immediately to auto zone and there are four codes reading one of the codes is the one they told me they fixed upon the return of my vehicle yesterday. Now I'm stuck here when I don't live here because I can't take a risk driving hours in this condition.

When I first moved to Carmel, my realtor referred me to Eagle. I initially scheduled routine maintenance but stopped going because their prices were higher than those of other local shops. Over time, I came to understand the reason. The difference is similar to choosing a walk in clinic versus a specialist. Eagle’s labor rates reflect the experience and expertise of their technicians, and investing in skilled professionals leads to better outcomes and keeps your people around. I later had an experience with another local shop (within walking distance from Eagle) that misdiagnosed a serious safety issue, even though I had specifically asked them to check it. That situation could have put my children and me at risk. When I brought the car to Eagle, they quickly identified the real problem and did everything they could to keep the cost reasonable. Jessica at the front desk was wonderful throughout the process, keeping me updated with calls and emails and making sure I had my car back before the holidays. I truly consider the Eagle team my automotive family now.

Brought my car here for Transmission issues. They were super nice and friendly but they told me I needed a brand new transmission. Said my oil was burnt and it was toast. Tow it home and I try just putting some transmission fluid in to see if it might have been low. Lo and behold it drives just fine now. This place is obviously just looking to get as much money out of you as they can. I take back what I said about them being nice and friendly. The "owner" told me to call and sort it out so I call today and get told the person is in a meeting they will call me back. 3 hours later I call again and am met with the rudest lady I have ever talked to. She just sat there asking what it was I wanted. You told me to call? I lost my job because this shop didn't do any due diligence and inspect my car properly. It was a very simple leaking seal. Hard to believe an experienced mechanic for 10+ years wouldn't be able to catch that. Either this place is just trying to scam you for the most money they can get or they're incompetent. Either way DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE.
