Brought in my skoolie because it had a transient shake in the front end. First they recommended replacing the shocks so I did that, but it did not fix the problem. Brought it back and they said my steering gear box was bad. Had them replace it for $2300. That didn’t fix the problem either. To make it even worse they screwed up the repair and had to order a new tool to fix the steering column threads they stripped. The repair took two days longer than they had initially indicated causing me to cancel a trip and loose $$ on a missed reservation. Finally they tell me my tire is bouncing and that I might need to get them balanced, but they didn’t have the equipment to do it. I think they sold me an unnecessary repair. I assumed that they would have ruled out something simple like tire balance early on, but they decided it was more profitable to sell me repairs they could make then send me somewhere else. Balancing the tires ended up fixing the problem for less than $100. I tried giving them a chance to address this or offer an explanation but they never bothered replying to my emails.
