BLUF: honest, family ran shop that I trust with my new and classic vehicles A little off the beaten path but worth the search. Michele up front greets you with a smile and so does the other employee. They are very helpful and prompt. We took a new vehicle in with some warning dings I couldn’t fix and they chased down an electrical issue. Fixed the issue at a fraction of the diagnostic cost of the dealership. Turned around and took our older Jeep in there for some leaks and they quoted me the cost to fix with parts. When I went to pick it up they said they didn’t need all the parts and it was $400 less.

I had a the best service through my entire experience there at Owings Automotive. They took my vehicle in right away after I called in, where near by body shops were at least a week out for me to come in. They fixed my exhaust problem, the work took under an hour. It was quick, efficient and professional. I would highly recommend.

If less than one star could be given or negative stars, I would do that! I used to swear by this shop and now I wouldn’t trust this place to put a lightbulb in, let alone an oil change or tires. I made the mistake of getting an engine replaced here and my vehicle has had oil leaks ever since. As I fix the leaks, it appears that they simply used every old gasket from the original motor (which had over 170,000 miles on it) and had very poor quality work done in the process. The “warranty” the motor comes with doesn’t do a darn thing for you either and mine as well be non existent. Needed tires balanced at one time too, my truck left with a much worse vibration than ever and had to take it to another shop to get it fixed and they told me every tire was out of balance. If you can’t change oil, rotate and balance tires, or replace motors, I don’t know what you can do but it can’t be much. Be careful going here!
