BEWARE OF MANHEIM KANSAS CITY!!! 6/7 We "Riverwatch Auto Sales" bought a 2010 Jeep Wrangler from Manheim Kansas City. The unit ran through Green Light and some how passed a 14 day post sale inspection. 6/19 The Jeep was delivered to us. I immediatly called the arbitration department in Kansas City and spoke to Kristen abritration manager Darla Morgan's assistant. Darla was not available. Kristen who said she was new reached out to Victor Ferlaino the General Manager who called me. Victor and I discussed my concerns with the unit. It has a substantial amount of physical damage. Its was in such a bad state I pulled a full Auto Check which I will attach. The vehicle had been in a roll over accident and not repaired. The structural integrity of the car had been so completely damaged the doors wont even close. 6/20 I called Kristen back again "Darla was still out" and told her I was sending the unit back to Manheim Atlanta for them to re-inspect it for structural damage and a bad transmission. 6/23 The vehicled was sent to Atlanta. The auction in Atlanta also said the unit wasn't structurally damage and apparently they were never told about the transmission issue. In an effort to end this situaltion, Kristen was able to allow us to run the Jeep through the auction in Atlanta twice. It never got a bid. We then determined the best course of action was to get the vehicle back to Augusta and have it professionally diagnosed. I will attached those estimates as well. 8/7 I called Kristen who referred me to Darla Morgan. Darla apologized for being out and offered her assistance. I sent her the estimate from Ricks Paint and Body saying the vehicle was totalled and the one from Weeks transmision saying it needed 1200.00 worth of repair. 8/11 I called Darla who was getting with her supervisor about the situation. She called back to inform me that she and Joey Satfield the asst. Gen Mgr. looked at the video of the sale and determined that "today" the damage to the A pillar of the jeep had been done in transport. I immediately reminded her of the scolding I recieved on 6/19 from the folks of Manheim Kansas about how I bought the jeep with all of the damage already existing. 8/14 I was told they wanted to pay for the transmission repair. I told Victor I was not interested in keeping this unit. IT IS NOT RESALABLE. IT HAS SO MUCH STRUCTURAL DAMAGE IT IS A TOTALLED VEHICLE!!! Rusty there yard guy is the best he help me to get a broke hitch gooseneck trailer up and able to pull ,without him I'd probably still be their.
