I had an intermittent metallic knocking noise somewhere in the drivetrain that several friends and different mechanic shop couldn't diagnose. It would shake the whole car but the other shop I've used in the past said bring it back when it is a consistent noise. Very frustrating because it didn't feel safe driving the car and so it had been sitting in my driveway while I was figuring out what to do. I heard great things about Cape Auto Repair so I decided to give diagnosis a shot at this shop. They got me in, and the owner said he had to drive it for a while, but they finally found what it was and promptly scheduled me to have the issue fixed. Thank you so much to the team at Cape Auto Repair for putting in the time to get my vehicle back on the road. Reasonable price, quality work, and great customer service. Really happy that I don't have a giant expensive question mark sitting in my driveway anymore and that this shop took the time and care to ensure their customer's issue was fixed.

Saved the day! Was about to depart the ferry when I could clearly see a larger than life bolt in my tire and my tire pressure was abismal. Found them online and very close to terminal. Everyone from the office manager who answered my call and rung me up, the gentleman who inspected and repaired my tire while communicating everything going on, to who I assume was the owner/manager who was also there were great to interact with. Thanks for solving my travel concerns quickly and adorably. I even made it to my destination without anyone realizing what had happened.

I was stranded heading back to Chicago going to get on the ferry and my starter went out I had my truck towed to Cape Auto Repair and so glad I did as I mentioned to the tow truck driver and the Uber driver where I brought it I kept hearing the owners name Chip saying that he was a really great mechanic and had fair prices. Chip and his wife did not disappoint they had my truck fixed in a few hours for a fair price! Thank you so much for saving the day. I would highly recommend Cape Auto for automotive repairs!!
