In September 2022, I had a lot of bad luck with my Blue Mazda 2007: I had a hit and run that damaged my left headlight, and then later, I had a deer collision that completely broke my right headlight. I never before had a car without lights, in the middle of the road in the dark, but let me tell you it is REALLY SCARY. The damage was extensive enough, that body shops kept quoting me crazy repairs like $5k (at the low end). They all wanted to do their "best work" on my really old and beat up car — a waste of their talent and my money. I paid $4k for this car in 2018. Right now with the way things are, I can't afford a new car, I can't afford an old car, I can't afford a lease. The people at Suburban Wrench are the only ones that heard me, that saw how desperate I was, and that tried earnestly to help me within my price range. The wonderful Nadine looked up the parts number for the headlight, got a used one some place in just a few days, and the terrific Mike installed and fixed everything else he could fix — the left lowbeam and he fixed the body in the best possible way without changing parts. After a month and half of looking for help, they took care of my troubles in FIVE days. I am so grateful for a good old fashion car shop that's not trying to pick and choose customers they can make the highest margins on, but to do right by the customers who are there. This is a really good, friendly local business, they've really helped me out of bind. Chances are, they can help you too!
