This review is from 2021 which somehow conveniently disappeared from the original C & C business listing. However I am reposting due to the seriousness of the issue. Well I wasn't going to leave this review until I came across some problems with the front brake/rotor job they did (my car wasn't in much use after the repair). First, I had to return to them immediately after picking up my car to solve a grinding noise on my right front - probably rust stuck between pad & rotor which ended up gouging the brand new rotor. In the process, they snapped a wheel stud which they did replace. The way they reinstalled the caliper (see picture) actually twisted the brake line when all they had to do was turn the caliper over. This can cause a warped rotor, uneven braking, sticking caliper, etc. Some time later, the same right front pad began grinding and the brakes had to be changed again. It appears that they did not lubricate the caliper slide pins, therefore causing inefficient braking and subsequent grinding. Reasonable pricing but you do get what you pay for as in this case. Unfortunately I wouldn't ever go back here. Quality of service IS paramount, not just pricing.

I have come to this shop for a number of different repairs, emergency fix’s and the routine maintenance. This is not your average/regular auto shop. This is a community space that prides itself in good work, honest jobs and genuine community values. I say Community values because they always stressed to me that their work has to be good enough for your kids to be safe in. This was always the draw for me, not to just ride around in, but secure enough that the mechanics are considerate to a customers livelihood. Marvin has a critical eye and a deep attention to detail. Lewis is compassionate, understanding and has a down to earth feeling; even through the phone. Carlos is a wizard and will uplift your spirit the moment you pull in. Santo is always in a good mood and will ask you how your family is doing. These guys aren’t just mechanics, they are like uncles who have seen all of my cars. They have earned my trust many times over, from body work, to exhaust work, to breaks, bearings, radiators, transmission work. I have always been the type of person to ask a lot of questions and I always want to learn about what is going on. Usually, mechanics are very put off by questions, get disgruntled or feel insulted to have to explain themselves. The community here at C&C are the exact opposite. They will talk to you about what the problem is, give you options, support your understanding and do an exceptional job. Communication is key when your vehicle is your means to work, family responsibilities and informs your mental health. My car is like a part of my family and all drivers have a relationship with their vehicles. These brothers understand that and communicate in ways that make you feel both honored and respected; both you and your car. When the little ones in the community come around (in more than one occurrence while im sitting in my car with hazard lights blinking) around and ask me about my car’s, I don’t tell them I’m bringing it to the “mechanic”, I tell them I made an appointment with the “Car Doctors”. Truly the best mechanics I have ever been to. Honest men doing honest work and ensuring that your car will take you where you need to be…..and safely. It is an honor to do work with these “Car-Doctors”
