Disappointing to wait for a Mack Athem black special edition for so long. Finally receive it and it has scratches and dents on certain panels. As if manufacturer saw the dents and still decided to use said metal/panels. Rear lights not working. Quick self diag got me to a connector that was never connected. How did it pass DOT inspection? Makes me wonder. Truck looks nice, paying for a brand new truck it should be coming with no damage, in working condition to be viable for the road. Will update review again after 100k miles on truck.

Don't really have anything good to say about Mack trucks, I bought 2 of them one in 2005 and one in 2009, the 2005 was ok but when I ordered it I was supposed to get the truck in 3 months, and kept being pushed back it took a year and half to get the truck, with no explanation from the dealership. but I was excited to get a Mack truck so I waited when the truck came after waiting 18 months they raised the price of the truck $ 10,000 with the option of do you want it?? or you can leave it! at that point I was not going to back out I had open a supplier house for 2 years already and this was a big investment for a small guy like me I figured it was cheaper to just pay the $10,000 then to fight with them. The sales person's Jeff that I was dealing with at Gabrielli Was very nice and very knowledgeable and very accommodating within his power for the past 15 years and I have to say the 2005 Mack has been a good truck overall. So I decided to buy another Mack for one reason only: I liked Jeff so I bought a 2009 model, it costed me about $ 200,000 by the time I finished with the body and since 2009 with no exaggerations I must have spent 150,00 fixing it and still doesn't run correctly. I replaced everything you can possible think of and it has been at mechanic shops more then at my yard. And for some reason everything that broke was never under warrantee if somebody would gift me a Mack truck I would not even touch it . One comment my mechanic always said, leave it on the side of the road with keys in it and hope somebody steals it!! I bought the truck from Gabrielli Truck Sales, Medford 3200 Horseblock Road, Medford, NY if any body from Mack is interested in knowing the all story you can call them and speak to Jeff he was my sales rap Dealership never Helped either never offered and discounts on parts to fix the truck
