This is the week along with the weekend 01/18 thru 01/25/2026 where Philadelphia and the surrounding counties will be impacted by a serious snowstorm and bitter cold ? . The weather stations, along with social media are hyping the situation up and people are panic buying everything. I happened to find salt when all the big name stores are out completely. I found a bag of rock ? salt ? for under $15.00. The store owner and employee are pleasant people and friendly the gentleman carried the bag of salt to my car. I believe in supporting small businesses and this is not even my neighborhood.

Incredible local store. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind staff. The man at the counter helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and then some. ;) Lots of older USA-made stock; great when you have something like a light fixture from an older era that you want to carry NOS spare parts for.

Great local hardware store. Friendly people and lots of selection. They also repair things. This is a much better experience than the big box stores.
