CONSUMERS BEWARE: EXCESSIVE PRICING $435 for 6 mile tow. Our car stalled after hitting a puddle during the flash floods on Friday night. Lane’s Towing was called by the police to pick up the car. On Monday morning (the first day the shop was open since doing the tow), Lane’s towing quoted us $435 total to pick up the car. $150 for the tow, $15 for mileage, $70 because it was raining (yes, I’m being serious), $100 for “storage” on Saturday, $100 for “storage” on Sunday. When I questioned $100 / day for storage, I was told it was only $64.50 / day, however the total was still $435. Do not trust these people to care for your car. Do not expect them to act decently if you are in a vulnerable situation.

Answered my call and promptly provided service to have me on my way! Explained he was picking up a vehicle and gave an accurate time frame for when I could expect him. Less than a hour. Affordable and friendly. Engaging and personable. Highly recommend.

Very rude. Owner also REFUSES to let me get my WALLET with my IDs, debit cards, and cash out of the car without paying an outrageous fee. (Which is illegal but he rudely told us to "call the police then") I had a stress induced seizure while driving after had just moved up here, (causing me to break my color bone and wrist) so all of me, my son's, and some of my roommates belongings are still in that vehicle. Not to mention I've been out of WORK because of injuries and lack of IDENTIFICATION TO EVEN BE HIRED ANYWHERE. Horrible HORRIBLE customer service, lack of empathy, and owner doesn't seem to grasp the concept of Pennsylvania laws.
