Dealers beware of Adesa Clear. They are sending vehicles thru this program that have bad transmissions, bad engines, and a host of other undisclosed issues. Green light means nothing, ive gotten ones with bad transmissions that were green light. I bought an "as is" car recently with "heat shield loose" as the announcement - turns out the transmission was shot and it was overly obvious at parking lot speed - they refused to do anything said it was my problem. DO NOT TRUST THE CR, the people that check over the cars have no idea what they are doing. If you buy over the internet without inspecting the cars in person, you WILL get burned!

Adesa clear has become deceptive in their condition reports. Sold me a car that doesn't drive but closed my arbitration because it had a trouble code disclosed. Management still can't define for me what drives mean's in the CR ....... hiding behind not having a light system anymore. Arbitration closed the case without even a conversation. For those that remember back lot cars ...... it feels familiar ....... after 30 years I expect to be done at Adesa

I thought I would give Adesa another try after a few failed attempts at other locations. Welp Adesa is Adesa no matter who owns it. They wouldn't release my vehicle because I owed $25 yes you read that right $25. Couldn't pay online, I had to send payment by mail. Did I mention that it was my vehicle that I brought in to sell? Not one that I bought from there.
