I bought a new hitch online. The actual hitch itself is stout, and appears to be very nice once it is installed. The reason for the average review is due to the packaging of this heavy item. This arrived in a badly damaged box, loose with little to no material inside for safe transit. The hardware was loose in the box, no doubt from the lack of materials and several pieces were missing. I've been told by the company that they are sending replacement hardware, but I have not seen it yet, and its been almost a week. No follow up emails with tracking or confirmation of this hardware, so unfortunately this has not been installed yet, and puts me down a truck for towing. They sent an email for me to review my purchase, but after only putting 3 stars it would not accept my review to their website. Not sure if that is a glitch or ..... Update 1/30/26 The lost hardware was replaced and received today from the manufacture Curtmfg. The customer service rep. at TowUniverse helped to facilitate this. I do appreciate the help. Hopefully the packaging will get better in the future.

I will update again...TowUniverse worked with me and the issues have been resolved to my satisfaction! ----------------------------- Well...I need to update this review. I won't simply complain here - I am contacting the company. The under-rail liner arrived, but to my surprise, I simply found it laying on my parking slab in the alley. I park in the garage and was away from home for 2 days so I really don't know "when" it arrived. I was not alerted to the delivery, and the items were not secured in any way. The tailgate cover and some washers were just sitting in the bed liner. No tape, nothing to secure the items. I'm glad nobody drove by and snatched the liner! There were no covers for the tie-down openings, which means water is going to get down underneath and "sit." And it appears that this may have been a returned item. I say that because it looks like someone cut more out of the over rail corners than should have been leaving a big gap between the liner and the truck (also allowing water to get down underneath and "sit"). There's also gapping in the fit under both corner areas as well. Before ordering I emailed to make sure this item would specifically fit my truck. I was told that it would. The liner is not a perfect fit. I know the liner is not meant to be waterproofed, but I was hoping for more protection against water/rusting underneath. Open holes don't help. Other than that, the fit was decent. It was very easy to install. I would purchase again but would specifically request delivery confirmation and ask that the loose items (tailgate, washers) are secured to the liner. I would also question the return policy because I would rather receive a liner that perfectly fits my truck. I will be inquiring. ------------------------ I just placed an order today. So far, so good. Customer service was excellent! We'll see how the product quality rates when received.

Ordered a bedliner for my Chevy Colorado as a Christmas Gift. Tow Universe failed to provide an update on order status for several weeks as they held on to $300 of my money. They sent me an auto email to ask how their service was as if the product had already shipped and when I left a poor review they sent me a notice of refund. There was no action on their part to communicate that my order was out of stock and no phone call or apology for dropping the ball and ruining Christmas. I saw 3 failures. 1 posting out of stock inventory on your website for sale. 2 accepting money for that inventory. 3 failure to realize that an order was going weeks on end without being fulfilled to investigate the issue and ensure the customer was taken care of.
