Took my car which was bought from a less then reputable dealer to them for standard inspection and to figure out a odd electrical drain. John and Christine were both very kind, upfront and kept great communication during the whole process. They lived up to “they have never had a car they couldn't fix. Ive never felt so at ease and reassured at any other shop ive dealt with, they have gotten a new loyal customer! Pricing was also very reasonable.

Just moved back to PA after living out of state for a few years and J's has made everything dealing with my car super easy. I was concerned about finding a reliable and honest mechanic in the area, but J's is definitely my go to now! When I got my oil change, they even walked me through what I had to do to get my tags and title switched and recommended a great tag shop. Their prices are fair and as someone with little to no car knowledge, it was nice that they took the time to explain things to me having to do with my car as opposed to just handing me a bill. Above and beyond any mechanic I've dealt with in the past. Definitely recommend!

I went to J's Auto Service to hopefully see if they could fix my favorite 2009 GMC Acadia (163,000 miles). We have traveled all over the country and love this Acadia! There was a bad engine that shook for several months, and J's Auto Service was able to fix our engine with reasonable prices. I had taken this GMC to three places; 2 GMC dealership/services , and a local auto service, and none of them COULD FIX THIS DAMN PROBLEM W/ ENGINE without charging me exorbitant prices. I already spent over $2,000 and still the engine shook. I heard about J's Auto Service via this rating and reviews. I visited J's Auto Service, and explained to John (owner) about my frustrations with different services and spending $$$. John understood my frustrations, and worked hard to figure out exactly what the problem was. John found that a new part that I had paid for recently at the other local service was no good! He said it was a bad coil and definitely not new. Unbelievable! J's Auto Service gave us an AAA discount with great and reasonable prices for parts and labor, for the Ignition Coil, Catalytic Converter, Evaporative Control System, State Safety Sticker, Premium Rear Disc Brake Rotors, PA Inspection and changed the car fluids. I am so happy with J's Auto Services. We found an HONEST service with great prices since we moved back from New Mexico recently. We will be using J's Auto Service from now on!
