Here is my personal experience with 'Mac's Auto co.' My husband and I had being interested in a vehicle from here, as we put in the apllication and submitted thr needed paper work, I have to say, the customer service seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. We hadn't heard of an approval for acouple of days , as monday passed we wondered what was the status of an approval. My husband personally received a call from the bank stating an approval, and had also wondered if we were still interested in the vehicle. Concerned and confused my husband explained that we had not received ANY sort of contact from the dealer. He called Mac's and the gentleman had told us that because he hadn't heard from us, that he assumed we were no longer interested in the vehichle, and had sold it. To our shock my husband had questioned Mac's for why we hadn't received ANY sort of contact from THEM about the car or our approval. To summarise, There was no apology or remorse for the lack on conact or the fact that they assumed they could sell the car. It is the responsibility of the dealership to keep contact and assure customer service at all times during a possible sale, it is NOT the customers job to contact the dealer especially since the sale is infact being relied on the dealer. I appreciate the time and what courtesy we received, unfortunately my review isn't what i was hoping for it to be. Sorry. We're out a car because of the mistake made by the dealer.
