Wow. Where do I begin? My wife and I had a car crash on I-85 that totaled her car. We were both taken to the trauma center, and after about two hours, we were released. Now what? Our car was at a recovery lot and we wanted to retrieve our belongings from her car. I called Hart Towing and Recovery to see if they would be open at about 6:00 pm. Mike Hart, the owner, answered the phone and told us that they were open 24/7. I told him who I was, and that we’d like to get our stuff. He asked how we were going to get there. I told him that I had called an Uber to take us there. He said “Nah, don’t bother with that. I’ll come and pick you up. And then what are you going to do?” I said we’d take an Uber from his shop to a hotel about an hour away, and our son from Chicago was flying in and would pick us up at the hotel. Again he said, “hold on, I’ll drive you to the hotel.” Say what?? So, Mike picked us up at the hospital, drove us to his lot, and he and Richie emptied our wrecked car into his car, and off we went to the hotel, again, about an hour away from his shop. When we got there, he unloaded all of our stuff onto a cart and brought it into the lobby of the hotel. Then he drove another hour to get back. I offered him whatever, but he just said “write me a good review.” Well, Mike, I hope that this is good enough. While I wouldn’t wish what happened to us to happen to anyone else, at least if you’re in the Greenville/Spartanburg SC area and need help, Hart Towing and Recovery is the place to call.

Actually they should not get any stars!! Do not let them near your car! They charged me $4005 to put in a $1600 motor than charged me more then what they said. Then when I went to pick up the car they told me there was a leak in transmission fluid and they wanted to charge me another$900 to fix that. Oh by the way, they would have had to remove the part that was bad to put in the motor, so they put the bad piece back on. Oh and the kicker. This must have been planned because in the backseat was the front undercarriage to my car. Guess they didn't put it back on because they thought I was going to be able to fix the bad part. NO WAY!! Beware of bad mechanics

Unbelievable skill to maneuver their flatbed down a curvy forest path to winch out a tractor and a skid steer stuck in the mud. A tough job others would have walked away from But their attitude was “I can try it”. So thankful they did .
