I had a very pleasant experience with Acme Riverside, CT. I was there to purchase an arranged flower in a vase for my wife’s birthday and the lady in their flowers department was very nice, accommodating and really skilled on what she does. She made me those flowers and it turned out to be really beautiful. My wife truly appreciate it. Kudos to the wonderful lady for delivering exceptional service.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to today. It was my first time shopping at ACME Markets in Riverside. With the storm coming, I needed to grab a few essentials for my kids. The store was a bit picked over, which I expected since most people had probably shopped the night before. While I was in the produce department, I met two employees who truly went above and beyond. Even though it was truck day and they were busy, they were incredibly friendly and made me feel valued as a customer. When I mentioned I needed specific items for my family, they didn’t hesitate they went downstairs to check the new delivery and brought up what I needed. On top of that, they took the time to guide me to other items around the store. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help during such a busy time really stood out. Kudos to the management team for having such wonderful employees representing your store. Experiences like this are why customers come back.

Rude, incompetent and dismissive staff. Run down store in need of major upgrade of the building, products and people. They should shut down this store and get a real supermarket company. I’ve given up and moved on to supermarkets in Stamford.
