Frankly, the majority of the guys at the lumber counter are disinterested, disingenuous jerks. They cannot be bothered to provide proposals or make sure emails are correctly sent. Furthermore, I am still waiting for a response to an online "Request for Quote" from days ago. I will most certainly be purchasing elsewhere.

I moved to the area two years ago, and have been to Oxford Lumber at least two dozen times since. Every single time I walk in there, I am greeted by a friendly staff member and asked if I need help. As a first-time homeowner and single mom who works full time at a desk job- I always take all the help I can get when it comes to tackling house-related tasks and DIY projects. The level of expertise of the OL staff is unmatched. Seth and Leanne have been particularly courteous and helpful to me on a number of occasions, but to be honest, I have not met a single staff member who hasn't been kind and helpful even though I clearly never know what I am doing. Thanks to the OL staff's advice and recommendations, I have successfully and economically renovated my bathroom, repaired and painted my concrete steps, and sealed my foundation to keep mice out. I rarely write reviews, but feel the need to give this place 5 stars because of the way the team consistently goes above and beyond for their customers. Thank you, OL staff- you've gained a loyal customer for life.

Good service overall but they are difficult to reach on the phone, especially on the weekends. They actually disconnect before answering. Had that happen repeatedly.
