I'm new to the area and definitely rural enough that a car was a necessity. After hitting a couple of moving snags, I was worried about how I was going to be able to get somewhere to purchase a car, and worried that I might not get into a good one. Just bought a new to me car from John at Past and Present. I had a miserable experience trying to buy a similar vehicle from a dealership in Burlington. I had been searching for a rare 1st gen Tacoma that had reasonable milage and not a lot of rust. I noticed they had one when driving up Rt 100. A few days later I stopped in. I met with Scott. He was awesome. He knew all the details of this particular model and let me take it out for a test drive. The purchase experience was excellent. Zero pressure, fair price. I hope to drive this vehicle for a long time. But, as others have said, I'll definitely go back when I'm in the market for a used car.
