Given Jesus Praise My son was serving a sentence in jail and had a encounter with Jesus. While there Jesus began changing him. When he got out he wanted to go to a faith based program that would help him grow in Jesus and build his firm foundation. Being his momma I read the bad reviews about this program but wanted to believe these bad reviews where miss spoken. BUT THEY ARE NOT, WHEN YOU READ THE BAD REVIEWS TAKE HEADTH TO THEM THEY ARE TRUTH. Today I took my son there. I myself was once in the same place the guys and girls are that show up to this program. I met a MAN named JESUS and HE CHANGED EVERYTHING ABOUT ME. So I know how Jesus sees each one of them. And it is not how this program sees them. Today when I took my son. He was dressed nice and had a necklace on that a friend of his gave him before he died. When we walked in the first thing the owner said to him was. That's a nice necklace where did you get it? My son said from my friend. The guy said it's a big necklace. " IT IS NOT BIG" your wearing that because you want attention to yourself. It's all about you. My son said no SR. The guy said who is going to get you in a week when you leave. My son said I am not going to leave. He told the other guy to take us in to sign in. We sit through a 3 hour concert, and short testimony back what the program had did. Not one Bible was opened, one scripture read, nor did they talk about how Jesus was the one to give glory too, but one of the guys did come up to my son and tell him to tell them he needs this program or he will die with out it. NO SR HE NEEDS JESUS AND WILL GO TO HELL WITHOUT HIM. At the end they have a guy come talk to us. He was truly humble and he did talk about Jesus being the one who changes things, BUT THEN up comes another guy who is rude and acted like he was some big Billy bad butt. They then said we want you to be here , you have to be interviewed by no other then the GUY we meet coming in. The two guys come back after talking him about my son, to tell us THAT MAN SAID. MY SON NEED TO COME BACK NEXT WITH A BROKEN SPIRIT. WHAT ARE YOU SERIOUS. OVER WEARING A NECKLACE. I know this sounds CRAZY. Because it is. BUT THIS REALLY HAPPENED TO US TODAY. But JESUS. Jesus shielded my son from being a part of this place. I pray and if you have read this far please pray JESUS breaks that man's spirit to where ever it is he thinks the people should be. ADDICT HAD TO BE AT THEIR OWN ROCK BOTTOM. EVERYONES IS DIFFERENT AND THE NEED TO KNOW THEY NEED JESUS OR BE LOOKING FOR HIM. I'm sure when he started this program it started out on Jesus, but as he said today 23 years, the years have turned into greed, selfishness, self-centered, self-desire and an ego that says I'm in control of people's life's. There are so many good real faith based programs that stand on Jesus GO THERE AND STAY AWAY FROM HERE. REMEMBER PRAY JESUS BRINGS HIM TO THE PLACES HE THINKS THESE GUYS SHOULD BE.

Not very pleased with this place at all, we dropped our friend off there that needed restoration he is a graduated pastor! for a director from John 3:16 who is presenting a bible study with profanity that is not how the Holy Spirit works( eph 4:29 no foul language should come from your mouth, but only what is good for building up someone in need, so that it gives grace to those who hear.) not only that, but as the people that dropped him off we called back in September 2025 to let our friend know his brother passed away. They told us they would let him know. Tonight 2/3/2026 after they kicked him out of the program, he called us and just let us know that he just found out about his brother dying. And not only that, but they are keeping his wife from him and causing discord between a marriage that also is not something that Jesus would do. I would highly recommend it not coming to this program.

I took a family member to John 3:16 because he passed his telephone interview and told them all about his medications, they told him to bring all items they listed to stay so we did much of we had to buy. Got there after a four hour drive listened to a 3 hour service which was really just a production show put on by the residents then after the show was over we was talked to by their male nurse and one other resident and the nurse looked at my family member and said " YOUR GOING TO DIE "..now who does such a stupid thing as that ? Then wouldn't except him for the program because of medication he couldn't quit cold turkey because of PTSD. Im a Christian and I know GOD would never of turned him away from his love and mercy and healing. Shame on the John 3:16 recovery treatment center for allowing this to happen. God sees and hears all. I honestly feel like they only want healthy men and women that might have a addiction but still can work hard to make income for them, the residents do hard labor jobs and never receive any money. Its really brainwashing shoving religion down their throat. My GOD IS THE GREAT PHYSICIAN we dont need you to say " YOUR GOING TO DIE " well I feel everyone is at some point but being rude and disrespectful to a sick broken down human asking for help isn't going to help your crowns of jewels. I will never advocate or recommend John 3:16 recovery center in Charlotte Arkansas.
