I absolutely fell in love with Cane Hill, Arkansas on my recent visit – it’s my new favorite hidden gem in the Ozarks! Standing in front of the beautifully restored Cane Hill College felt like stepping into a history book, and hiking the peaceful trails along Jordan Creek was pure bliss with the stunning scenery and fresh air. As a history buff and nature lover, this spot was perfect for me – so serene and charming. Can’t wait to come back! Cane Hill, Arkansas, stole my heart during my recent visit. We enjoyed the fall festival there. The working sorghum cane display was interesting. The two historic buildings, the college and the church, could have been helped by signs clearly marking their location and signs with historical descriptions. There were no signs we could find describing the history of Cane Hill nor how it got its name. The church was cute and did provide a brief handout of its history inside. We appreciate the staff that provided free shuttles back to our parking spot since it was uphill and a little more remote.

My family and I came out for the first time and enjoyed every minute of it! The trails and foliage are absolutely stunning.
