When we visit from out of town, we often make a stop here to buy some items. Right off the bat, the first thing you need to anticipate is an odd selection of goods you don't typically see in other stores, and you absolutely cannot be squeamish about expiration dates. If you can get past those two points, you're on your way to a horn of plenty. The shelves are always stacked and clean, and everyone is friendly. The area seems safe as far as I can tell, and the prices are definitely good. However, you have to take into account that the price reflects the condition of the item you are getting. For some people, this will be an outstanding discovery, while others would never come back. So, it's either a big win or a big loss, but for me and my wife, it's a huge win.

It's nice to find a bargain, but remember most of those items are out of date. They will tell you that it won't hurt you, but that is the only reason you are getting a bargain. That's not the problem though. The staff and managers are so condescending and non-cooperative. A cashier named Laura handed me my bags of groceries and said "That's All", so I took her word and left. I came back later when I realize she didn't give me my other bag. I figured she would have saved it for me. They acted as if I was trying to con them and said the next customer most likely got my items and dismissed me as if I was bothering them. So shame on me for taking someone's word. They also won't answer their phone. If they had answered, I called mega times. It could have saved a trip all the way back up there since I found out they didn't want to give me my items I purchased. I'm sure they don't care that they lost a customer today because there will always be another person who wants to buy out of date food. But whatever happened to good customer service? Even just being respectful instead of condescending. I lost $5.53 today, but Wise Buys lost much more than that.
