As soon as I took the virtual tour for Whitehall I told my (then) fiancé that if we booked an on-site tour there was no chance I wouldn’t want to (have to?!) get married here. The venue did not disappoint and I still remember not being able to stop smiling the first time we walked the grounds. Whitehall was truly a dream wedding venue and I wouldn’t have changed anything about our experience if I did it all over again! The site is beautiful and the grounds are so large that there’s so many options to choose from for how you envision everything taking place. The staff and the grounds crew were all so great and accommodating as well and every part of the day was special in its own way. This venue is amazing for larger our of town weddings and it’s a great way for people who have never been to Annapolis to experience the true crab cakes and football experience!

Whitehall is an excellent venue. It has plenty of space for large gatherings, but won't overwhelm smaller parties either. It's scenic views on the water are one of a kind, and we had more than a few guests tell us it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever attended. Whitehall only does 15 weddings per year, so you're not going to be competing with other parties having their nuptials on the same weekend; you'll have plenty of time to get your venders set up the week before. Pros: Beautiful and spacious outdoor venue Well-kept and manicured grounds Historic property and buildings Detail-oriented staff COVID friendly Cons: Not walking distance from accommodations; guests will have to bus in Ease of access issues for people who have trouble walking Does not include essentials such as kitchen, bathrooms, tent, or ground cover Expensive price considering you're only paying for the grounds

My wife and I had our dream wedding at Whitehall! It is an absolutely beautiful, spacious, completely outdoor wedding venue with room for all of the activities. We hosted our welcome party, ceremony, AND reception on the property each in a different space and each as beautiful as the last. We also stayed in the cottage on property in the days leading up to the wedding, adding to the full experience. Needless to say, we were fully immersed in Whitehall during our wedding week and were all the better for it. We only had 1 hiccup during the whole experience which was a plumbing issue in the main house where my bridal party was getting ready, but other than that everything was seamless. Would definitely recommend Whitehall as a top-choice wedding venue!
