Driving back through Clarksdale near Highway 61, my car started smoking out of nowhere and the temperature gauge shot all the way up before the engine finally gave out. Between the Mississippi heat and trucks flying past, standing there trying to figure out what went wrong was honestly stressful. I searched emergency tow truck expecting a long wait, but Precious Times Towing showed up in about 30 minutes, which surprised me considering how busy the road was. Driver walked over calmly, checked under the hood for a minute, then explained that towing it to a mechanic was probably safer than trying to restart it again. He even reminded me to grab my wallet and charger from the console before loading the car up because my mind was all over the place. Better experience than dealing with my insurance roadside assistance line. Overall the towing service made a rough afternoon a lot easier to handle.
