I'm totally disgusted!!!! At this point I do not know what to do. My Mom passed away in August 2023 and left me some money. I was actually recommended to come here by Autotrans which started out with my clutch that needed to be fixed by Autotrans. It turned into a HORROR SHOW. I was referred bc I had a hole and rust under the front end, that needed to be repaired first. Ray said that he would be able to fix that and do the the clutch completely all brand new. He had to give me an estimate, he told me it would cost $3600.00 CASH, I agreed. I knew that I had many things fixed prior to this issue, my truck in not new its 2006 Saturn Vue. I couldn't afford to buy a new car, and I didn't want to sink money into a lemon. I trusted Ray because he was highly recommended LOL boy was I wrong. He seemed like a really nice guy. Actually, I paid this guy in full before he did anything not just giving him a deposit. I went to pick up my truck, I drove it twice locally and it seemed okay until I had to use the reverse and the higher gears that wouldn't go in. I couldn't believe it. Paid all this money and my clutch was acting like this. I paid for a brand new clutch. My first gear prior to this had issues. He told me that it would still have issues with the first gear, it was probably the linkage cable that I would need. What i didnt understand, why didnt he offer this to me before i got the truck back. Its part of a clutch replacement???? Why would i want my clutch not operating properly. I brought the truck back, didnt care that i had to pay more money for the linkage cable. My assumption was that he was going to change the linkage cable. Also, had parts for my rear breaks that my father in law had, initially he was going to put it in. I asked Ray if he would do the labor, he agreed and was happy to do so while fixing the first issue with the cable. I cant believe that he charged me $300 for labor after all the money I've spent for him to weld a hole and try to fix my clutch. I go back to pick up the truck for the second time now, he tells me everything is working great except for first gear its a little tricky, but it was always like that OO CONFUSED. When i grabbed my keys I talked to Ray and said to him I do not understand I thought you were going to fix this problem and again like i said i would have paid for the cable that was the whole reason to bring the truck back. I wanted a brand new clutch so it would work properly no problems what so ever. Am I mentally ill, are there any mechanics out there that could message me and explain on how this is supoose to work. From what he said he would have had to put it up on a lift and have to do more work, which shouldnt have costed me anything, this is what i wanted from the start. He said it should work fine with what he did and it doesnt. Been driving manual for many years. I really wished that this worked out differently, I'm disabled have an 8yr old son with autism that i have to bring him to Drs visits school etc. It's totally not fair bc the money that I had was from my Mom that passed away, I really thought that it was going into good use for my family's lively hood.

Spoke with Ray, the owner , about an issue with the frame on my Fiancés son’s vehicle. He actually had me send him a video of the damage to see if repairing the massive amount of rot on the frame would be worth the expense. After viewing the video, it was decided that it was far to extensive to repair. Ray gave me some alternative solutions to our dilemma and spent a good twenty minutes on the phone with me explaining each option and how we should proceed. I couldn’t be more appreciative and we will certainly be using Ray’s shop in the future and recommending him to our friends and family. Thanks again Ray for being so generous with your time, much appreciated!
